This multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary program equips students with the comprehensive understanding of global relationships between and among nations, through international relations, world history, diplomacy, culture, heritage, gender studies, languages, politics, and economics. This program also prepares students to be armed with ethical, professional and cross-communication skills with a globally oriented outlook to promote global sustainable development, which cover areas on environmental management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and food sustainability and security, global culture, indigenous studies, and peace studies.
CLSU’s IS program is a generalist program wherein after graduation, students can pursue a career in various disciplines. Aside from studying international relations, history, diplomacy, culture and heritage, language, political science, and economics, the proposed BAIS program of CLSU is unique as it also highlights the CLSU’s flagship programs in the globalizing world.
