The Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BSDC) program is designed to produce globally competitive professionals equipped with relevant knowledge, attitude, and skills to teach, manage, and implement communication programs for development. Students are trained to demonstrate effective communication skills and use appropriate knowledge and technology in dealing with industrial, community, environmental, and political concerns to achieve holistic development and advance society in the local and global arena.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the program may pursue careers in both communication and development fields. They may be employed as communication officers, community journalists, science and development writers, radio broadcasters, AV production specialists, graphic designers, community organizers, training officers, researchers, and college instructors, or may opt to venture on entrepreneurial activities.
